I am very pleased to announce that our new building is nearing completion and will be open early summer 2007. After 9 years of knowing and listening to you, our committed pet parents, we have added a host of very exciting new amenities to please you……and more importantly our favorite four legged friends!

The new building is situated on the other side of our 34 acre tract, and is surrounded by two adjoining creeks, a gorgeous lush tree line, and two ponds – a rather picturesque spot for a relaxing vacation.

We have installed a full size in ground swimming pool for our guests to enjoy during those hot Texas summer days! Indoors, we have added a large “lodge room” with specialized rubber flooring for active play during inclement weather outdoors. Our new relaxing “Retreat Lounge” will be a favorite spot for the quieter crowd. Still, we continue to boast of our plentiful play parks with lots of room to run, fetch, and play.

The entire facility will have soothing music piped in, 24 hours a day, and each of our new “VIP” suites will be equipped with private televisions, designer beds, and web cams to view your buddy when the longing for he/she sets in or just for peace of mind. As your pets’ well being is #1 on our agenda, we have installed a very sophisticated air exchange program to ensure a healthy environment for your dog or cat. The air throughout our 8500 sq. ft. resort will change every 15 minutes to guard against contagious airborne viruses!

Tailwaggers Country Inn has been working for almost 10 years to provide you with
the finest facility for all of your boarding, grooming, and training needs. Coupled with the superior staff of knowledgeable and passionate pet people we will now open a truly state of the art resort to further spoil your special friend. With many more choices, our lodging fees include boarding arrangements to suit all situations and desired needs.

While our pricing is still “all inclusive” of playtime, pool time, cuddle time, meals, snacks, and administering of medications or special diets……. we now offer an array of new suites to choose from. In all of the excitement of designing and building this new resort, it is our pleasure and passion to know and have the opportunity to care for your very special friend.

Our new facility will actually have 6 separate individual resort destinations, each having its own set of unique and different suites with different amenities!

The “Ranch View” Suites – This area is tailored for our smaller guests. This resort area was designed with your little friend in mind, it is equipped with sound proof stripping and doors….to limit the amount of noise for your buddy. We also made the suites larger and much more spacious, they now measure 7.5 x 4.5. It is directly adjoined to the indoor play arena for easy access. It also has the safety doors, epoxy flooring, and our air exchange system. There are also 2 specially designed suites that have a large veranda attached with independent access.

The “Valley View” Suites - This resort area contains our 8 x 5 suites, with a polished epoxy flooring ( easier on your buddies paws, cleanliness, and traction ), magnetic safety suite doors, and plenty of space.

All suites in the Valley View resort have fresh air, “literally”, pumped in every 15 minutes by our air exchange program. All dogs in the Valley View resort have access to social play time at no extra cost. Every dog has access to an in-ground pool.

The “Lake View” Suites – This resort area is a mirror image of the Valley View Resort area, with a few exceptions. With the Lake View, the safety doors, epoxy flooring, and its own separate air exchange. It was designed to hold some of our more active guests. The hallway has a little more elbow room, and the itinerary of play caters to our high energy guests. It's the party zone!!!

The “Bluff View” Suites – This area has 6 indoor suites that measure 8 x 5. These suites have all the of our basic amenities. This area also has 7 suites that measure 8 x 5 and have an attached veranda. These suites have a beautiful view of our hillside from the attached veranda and the dogs have access to the in-ground pool.

The "Creek View" VIP Suites - The Creek View VIP suites are situated to view our two adjoining creek lines and are designed for our guests with the most discriminating taste.

The "Pool View" VIP Suites - The Pool View VIP suites are situated "pool side" along side our new full size in-ground swimming pool . The Pool View Suites are quite literally the "Best in the house".

Family Suites - Our family suites are 16 x 5 in size, and they have an additional 16 x 8 covered private veranda that faces our scenic treed escarpment.

Lodging
$100 - This is a flat rate for our family suites. There is no additional charge for multiple dogs. We made this affordable for our clients who have multiple pet households.

In your search for a quality kennel experience for your pet, you may have noticed various pricing structures. One common structure at several kennels is 'a la carte' or 'separate service' pricing. This means that for every extra service above the minimum, there is an extra charge. For example: every minute of exercise over the minimum or administration of medication is an extra fee. The list goes on.

We at Tailwaggers Country Inn treat every dog with the same loving care. Our fees are straightforward and simple. We make sure that all our guests' needs are met and that Tailwaggers offers a wonderful experience for your pet! We just could not deprive one dog of the exercise, fun, and play that another dog was having simply because its owner didn't or couldn't pay an extra fee. Again, most dogs need medication on occasion and there's simply no need to charge extra for this. At least not according to our philosophy! We believe all dogs should be treated like part of the family! This is why we won't ever take part in 'a la carte!'

Please remember to book early for the holidays. We always end up with a waiting list, so please book early! Holidays are great fun here at Tailwaggers, we have Santa visits, Easter Bunny visits, and the annual Memorial Day games, and we are closed on holidays just to enjoy our guests.
