Taiwaggers About Us

Established in 1998, Tailwaggers Country Inn is one of Texas’ finest boarding, training & grooming facilities for your favorite feline and canine friends. Founded by Suzen Dennis, Tailwaggers not only meets the needs of every dog and their owner by providing a clean, safe facility, but also creates a lush retreat for your friend, spanning 34 beautiful country acres. A vacation at Tailwaggers Country Inn is like a trip to summer camp for your pooch, as we plan a full itinerary of playtime; including ball, Frisbee, swimming and socialization.

Tailwaggers prides themselves on quality care for all its guests. We provide individual sleeping quarters, quality meals, personalized care for medicines and special food needs. Jason Godwin, our Canine Behaviorist/Trainer lives on site and works with our staff. He offers an array of training packages for your pooch. Our professional pet stylist can pamper your pooch with a spa package to ensure that your pet is returned to you feeling and looking extra special. Tailwaggers Country Inn also offers daily pickup and delivery service to Dallas and Collin Counties, as well as some surrounding areas. So if it’s peace of mind you are seeking for the time you must be apart from your beloved friend, Tailwaggers Country Inn offers you this and so much more! We understand how much your dog means to you, how much a person’s life can be enriched by that unconditional love. We are here to ensure that even in your absence, your friend will know continued and uninterrupted caring.

Our Staff:

Dedication, patience, caring and an undying passion for dogs is a requirement for staff at Tailwaggers Country Inn. We see each little friend and big buddy as a very important member of your family. In choosing a boarding kennel you must take into consideration the people who will be caring for your VIP (Very Important Pooch!).

All staff members are required to get their Pet Care Technician Certification Level 1 through the American Boarding Kennel Association’s Accreditation Program. We encourage all staff members to pursue continued education through the ABKA program.
